Welcome to Math Adventure! We believe that children's educational games must provide a joyful, enriching, and above all, completely safe and private environment.

This Privacy Policy explains how Math Adventure ("we", "our", or "the app") treats user information. Our guiding principle is simple: we do not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal information from children or adults.

Math Adventure is designed for young children (toddlers through elementary students, ages 2 to 10) and their families. We fully comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR / GDPR-K), the Google Play Families Policy, and the Apple App Store Kids Category Guidelines.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

Math Adventure operates entirely offline without requiring user accounts or external network connectivity. Specifically:

• No Personal Data: We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, home addresses, or dates of birth.
• No Device Identifiers: We do not collect, read, or track hardware IDs (IMEI, MAC address, Android ID) or Advertising Identifiers (Google Advertising ID / AD_ID, Apple IDFA).
• No Geolocation Data: We do not access, track, or record your physical location or GPS coordinates.
• No Biometrics, Camera, or Audio Recordings: The app does not access your camera, microphone, photos, media library, or contacts.
• No Analytics or Telemetry: We do not bundle third-party tracking SDKs, analytics suites (such as Firebase Analytics, Flurry, Adjust, or AppsFlyer), or crash telemetry loggers that transmit data off your device.
• No Internet Transmission: The game functions completely offline. No data generated within the app is ever transmitted to any remote server or cloud database.

3. Local Data Stored on Your Device

To provide a seamless, personalized experience, Math Adventure saves a small amount of non-sensitive configuration data locally on your device using local storage (SharedPreferences). This data never leaves your device:

1. Player / Hero Name (Optional):
   • If entered in the Settings screen, a nickname or first name (e.g., "Alex", "Sophia") is stored locally on the device to display a friendly greeting (e.g., "Welcome, Sophia! ⭐").
   • Providing a name is entirely optional. Default gameplay is completely anonymous.
2. Game Progress & Unlocked Stages:
   • The highest stage completed across subjects (Counting, Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, Division, Colors & Shapes) is stored locally so progress is not lost when restarting the application.
3. Audio Settings:
   • Your chosen background music volume level ($0% - 100%$) and mute toggle state are saved locally to maintain your preferred listening volume between sessions.

4. Children’s Privacy (COPPA & GDPR-K Compliance)

Protecting young children online is our highest priority:

• Zero Personal Information: We do not knowingly collect, request, or solicit personal data from children under the age of 13 (or under 16 within the European Economic Area / UK).
• No Social Features or Chat: There are no chat rooms, forums, direct messaging, or multi-player interactions.
• No External Links Without Parental Consent: The app contains no links to external websites, social networks, or unvetted web pages.
• No Behavioral Profiling: We do not profile, track, or monitor children across apps, devices, or browsing sessions.

5. Advertising & In-App Purchases

• No Advertisements: Math Adventure is 100% ad-free. We do not display third-party advertisements, banner ads, interstitial popups, or rewarded video commercials.
• No In-App Purchases: The entire educational curriculum is fully accessible without microtransactions, paywalls, or digital subscriptions.

6. Permissions Requested

Math Adventure respects device integrity and does not request any dangerous or runtime Android / iOS permissions. The application requires only:

• Audio Output: Standard audio playback permissions for sound effects and background melodies.
• Local Storage / Sandbox: Standard application sandbox storage for retaining game progress and local settings.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

All game progress and settings reside exclusively inside the application's isolated local sandbox on your device.

• How to Delete Data: You may reset or permanently delete all data at any time by:
  1. Opening your device Settings > Apps > Math Adventure > Storage > Clear Data / Clear Storage, or
  2. Uninstalling the app from your device.
• Uninstalling Math Adventure instantly and permanently purges all saved stages, hero names, and preferences with no residual data remaining on any server.

8. Third-Party Services

Because Math Adventure does not integrate external analytics, advertisement networks, or remote cloud databases, no third parties have access to your data or activity through this application.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may occasionally update this Privacy Policy to reflect app enhancements or evolving regulatory standards. Any revisions will be reflected with an updated Effective Date at the top of this document. We encourage parents and guardians to review this policy periodically.
