Welcome to Daily Bazar! Daily Bazar is a real-time collaborative grocery and shopping list application designed to make daily market visits, household planning, and grocery budgeting effortless for families, roommates, and shopping partners.

This Privacy Policy explains how Daily Bazar ("we", "our", or "the app") collects, uses, and safeguards information when you use our mobile application and collaborative synchronization services.

Our core philosophy is simple: We collect only the minimum data required to synchronize your shared bazar lists in real time. We do not sell, rent, or monetize your personal shopping habits, grocery data, or contact lists.

2. Information We Collect

To enable seamless multi-user collaboration and real-time syncing between shopping partners, Daily Bazar collects the following limited categories of information:

A. Account & Identification Information

Account Credentials: When you register or sign in (via email, phone number, or secure single sign-on like Google Sign-In), we store your primary identifier (such as your email address or user ID) and display name.
Profile Name / Nickname: A display name you choose so that your shopping partners know who added, edited, or checked off items on the shared list.

B. Bazar & Grocery List Data

Shopping Items & Details: The grocery items, quantities, estimated prices, categories (e.g., Vegetables, Fish & Meat, Dairy, Household), notes, and completion/purchased status that you add to your lists.
Partner Associations: Records of which partners you invite and share specific bazar lists with.
Timestamps: Timestamps of when items are added, updated, or marked as bought to ensure accurate real-time ordering across devices.

C. Technical & Diagnostic Information

Device & Connection State: Non-identifying technical data (such as app version, network connectivity status, and operating system) strictly necessary to maintain real-time WebSocket or database connections.
Crash Reports (Optional): Anonymized crash telemetry to help us debug application errors and improve stability.

3. Information We Do NOT Collect

We believe your grocery and household budgeting data is private:

No Financial Account Data: We do not collect or store your bank accounts, credit card numbers, or mobile financial service (MFS) passwords.
No Continuous GPS Location: Daily Bazar does not continuously track or log your physical GPS coordinates.
No Unsolicited Contact Book Scraping: We do not upload or scrape your entire address book. Invitations to partners are sent directly by you via shared invite codes, secure links, or explicit partner email entries.
No Third-Party Advertising Profiling: We do not sell your grocery patterns, dietary choices, or shopping frequency to advertisers, brokers, or data analytics firms.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information exclusively to provide and improve the Daily Bazar experience:

Real-Time Collaboration: Synchronizing item additions, price updates, and checkmarks instantly between you and your approved partners.
Partner Management: Allowing you to invite, manage, and remove collaborators from specific lists.
Budget & Expense Calculations: Computing total estimated and spent amounts locally and for your shared list members.
Offline Resilience: Caching list data locally on your device so you can view and update items even inside basements or markets with weak internet connectivity, automatically syncing once connection is restored.
Customer Support: Assisting you when you submit support queries or bug reports.

5. Sharing of Information

Your information is shared only in the following strictly limited contexts:

With Your Invited Partners: Any collaborator you explicitly invite to a bazar list will be able to see the items, prices, checked statuses, and the name of the user who made modifications on that shared list.
Service Infrastructure Providers: We use trusted cloud infrastructure and real-time database providers (such as Google Cloud / Firebase) that adhere to stringent industry security standards (SOC 2, ISO 27001) to host and transmit encrypted list data.
Legal Requirements: We will only disclose information if strictly required by applicable law, court order, or governmental authority.

We will never sell your data or share it with marketing third parties.

6. Data Storage & Security

We implement robust administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect your information:

Encryption in Transit: All communication between your device and our real-time servers is encrypted using Transport Layer Security (TLS 1.2 / 1.3).
Encryption at Rest: Stored list data and credentials are encrypted on secure cloud databases.
Access Control: Only authenticated partners associated with a unique list ID have permission to read or write to that specific bazar list.

7. Data Retention & Account Deletion

You retain full control over your data in Daily Bazar:

Deleting Items & Lists: Removing an item or deleting a list removes it immediately for all connected partners.
Leaving Shared Lists: You can leave any shared list at any time, revoking your access to future updates.
Account & Data Deletion: In full compliance with Google Play Store data safety standards, you may permanently delete your account and all associated personal data at any time:
1. Go to Settings > Account > Delete Account within the Daily Bazar app, or
2. Send an email to support@bihobol.com with the subject [Daily Bazar - Delete Account].
Upon request, your account record, profile data, and unshared lists will be permanently purged from our active databases within 30 days.

8. Children's Privacy

Daily Bazar is a general audience household utility tool and is not directed towards children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@bihobol.com, and we will promptly delete the data.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may periodically update this Privacy Policy to reflect new collaborative features or regulatory requirements. Any modifications will be posted here with an updated Effective Date at the top. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
